We took this just 2 days before I am officially at 37 weeks.
Yes, that means I am full term on MONDAY!!!! :)
My baby shower was on Saturday and it was absolutely wonderful. Branden and I are feeling much more prepared thanks to all of the brilliant gifts that were given. Most of the gifts were things that we needed (cause we literally only had some clothes and a bassinet before)but we got some super fun things as well! The group gift was a stroller and car seat, so now we can at least take our baby home from the hospital when she comes.
I am so grateful to everyone for their contributions; not to mention it was fun to get out of the house and chat with old friends for a while.
So here is the deal: On Thursday, at my normal prenatal appointment, my doctor noticed some protein in my sample and I had really high blood pressure. In other words I was pre-diagnosed with Preeclampsia. So I had to do a 24 hour test from Friday morning to Saturday morning. If it came back positive, I was to go straight to the hospital to have my baby. CRAZY right? it was kind of a shocker but we found out late Saturday that the test came back barely in the safe zone, like barely.
So for now, I am ordered to take it super easy and go to the hospital for any rapid weight gain or headaches.
Baby is moving really well. We cannot wait to meet her! yesterday she gave her Aunt sarah a big high five. Sarah sat her hand on my stomach and the second she did, there was a great kick right on Sarah's hand: from one active child to another.
I am as uncomfortable as is normal for a very pregnant lady, but I am still happy overall. We are excited to see the family that is coming out to meet the cute little girl that these feet belong to.
And just because I love these videos, here is one of their new ones. Yes, it made me cry.
