Debbie, being the awesome person she is, got the both of us passes to Thanksgiving Point. This has been such a fun blessing for us!
Last week we went to Farm country, a farm petting zoo.
When we got there, Isabelle was clearly excited, but at the same time, very nervous. All of the animals were much larger in real-life.
This horse was Huge! Isabelle wanted to get close to it--but not too close :) it was really funny to watch her face go from straight to really happy to worried.
The smaller animals were a lot less intimidating. She would run around and press her face up against the enclosure and mimic the noises of the animals inside.
The next two pictures are her looking at the baby goats. She kept saying, "Baby! baaaa" It was adorable!
Meanwhile, Kaylee watched it all in from the comfort of her stroller. I got the camera out too late: As soon as I put Kaylee up to the gate, this large cow walked straight up to it and stuck her head all the way out, so that she was inches away from Kaylees face. Kaylee was totally stunned. Her head was almost the size of Kaylees whole body!
Visiting the Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point was relaxing and fun! I absolutely love watching their little minds grow, as you see their eyes just soaking it all in. I am really lucky to get to enjoy these little adventures with my girls and their Grandma.
