Busy Week

It's been a while since my last post because, let's face it, my life is crazy right now! 

Kaylee had surgery on Wednesday 

Branden left for Alaska on Friday 

And I had my final yard sale on Saturday 

It might not sound that crazy but in between all of that I was packing and taking Kaylee to other appointments. Trust me, it was nuts.

Things of calmed down a bit. I am still busy getting ready for the
move. But I have been able to find time to blog a little :)

I don't feel like talking about Kaylees surgery, so I will talk about Branden leaving
Because Branden starts work soon and in order to find a place for us to live, Branden left for Alaska earlier than us. We spent a few days packing the truck and deciding what was worth hauling to Alaska and then, on Friday morning, Branden began the 63 hour drive to Anchorage. 

He made it through the Canadian Boarder Saturday night. Ever since then, we have only been able to text: no calls, no pictures, and he could not use Data. This means that he rarely knew where he was. I would relieve texts like "some place with a Walmart and a Costco" then I would search Canada for a city matching that description and tell him where he was and how much longer he had. Then, Yesterday, I got this picture:

He is still in Canada but he is getting closer. Last night he was 25 hours of driving away from Anchorage. 

We still dont have a place to live, but I am working on that. Wish us luck! and keep Branden in your prayers,that he might have a safe drive :)
