Hello New York

As some of you may be aware, I had never really been to a big city before. I was able to visit Boston last summer, but other than that, my top three big cities were Salt Lake, Provo, and Orem. So my mind was kind of stuck in this niavly happy state of mind about what life was like in big city. I figured it was just like that one block in Provo where the buildings reach above five stories high times 10. Oh plus there were more dogs and taxies. This is all that i picked up from the movies.
A few days ago Debbie and Frank took me and Branden to New York. Lets just say my perspective of big cities was, well... drasticly changed.
(And I thought those bulidings on the block in provo were tall. HaHa!)
When I first saw New York from the window, I thought, "wow! it is big!" Than I realized that what I saw was just a very small section of the city.
Everyone who has not been, let me just warn you; It is gigantic. I felt like the little girl from the nutcraker when the tree just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It was overwhelming.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it (would never want to live there but visiting was fun). Here are some of the things we saw (most of them speak for themselves):

That famous skating rink from all of the movies

Branden was not as thrilled as I was...
(actually he was only gumpy when I would try to take his picture :)

A famous tree...
Infront of another famous skating rink :)
