Honeymoon... a little late

OOPS!! I just realized that I have not blogged about our Honeymoon which happened 7 months ago! :)
Well, Debbie and Frank, being the Awesome Parents-In-Law that they are, surprised Branden and I with a fully paid for Honeymoon to Cancun Mexico!!
It was EXTREMELY fun and relaxing, here are the highlights (unfortunately there are few pictures due to me mostly using my disposable camera.
For one, the Hotel was AMAZING! all of the food was completely free! there were two fancy restaurants and a bunch of other ones. plus there was 24/7 free room service which we took FULL advantage of (including ordering their amazingly delicious ham cheese rolls at 1 am).
Not only was the food free, but so was the Alcohol (which we did not take advantage of... not on purpose anyway. So, on our first day there, we sat down in one of the restaurants (a not so fancy but still very delicious one)and ordered drinks. It is important to note that most of the workers knew only enough English to get by. We ordered two pinacoladas virgin style (no alcohol). The man came back a few minuets later with two very delicious looking drinks. but they were not so delicious... it tasted a little bitter. I thought it might just be the pineapple but after a few sips we both decided to take a large drink and swish it around in our mouths to get the real taste... It was SO GROSS, I nearly threw up! We called the waiter over and asked if there was alcohol in our drinks he smiled, pointed to the drinks and enthusiastically said, "YES! Alcohol". his smile disappeared with ours. "no." we said, "no alcohol." he pointed to me and said, "oh! no alcohol." I pointed to both of our drinks and said, "no alcohol in either one." after a few more minuets of this we finally got him to take our drinks, he had the hardest time comprehending why we would not want free alcohol. But, eventually we got our pina coladas and this time they were as yummy as they looked.
Some of the fun things we did include: Lots of beach time, Scuba diving (in the pool cause it was to choppy to go out into the ocean), a mangrove tour, and a lot of relaxing.
Okay, and I actually cannot find my pictures, so, when i do, I will post them :)
