I'M PREGNANT!
No, it was not really a surprise. Branden and I gave it some thought after we listened to a General Conference Talk by Neil L. Anderson called, Children. It was inspiring and even though it may not have made the most sense to start our family so soon, it just felt right.
So, I am just about 8 weeks along and so far I love it. I should clarify: I love the fact that there is a baby growing inside of me and that we are taking this big step in life. I don't so much love the nausea and loss of appetite. But all in all its really not that bad. Its already worth it to me.
It has also been easier to cope with because I got to see my little peanut-sized baby. I had a Subchorionic Hemorrhage so they did an Ultrasound to make sure everything was still working, and it was! I was relieved. First, because the Hemorrhage was small and healing. Second, because there actually was a baby inside of me. I was truly afraid that this whole time I was fooling myself, and somehow both mine and the doctors tests were wrong -- there is that .01% chance after all.
We are very excited. It has been fun to see how excited other people are as well. As we announced our first child we were also announcing, a first Grandchild, a second Grandchild, a first Great-grandchild (twice), and on my side there are many Great-grandchildren, so I am not sure what number this will be.
I will try to blog more to keep everyone updated.
