Kaylee was able to come home Easter morning!
We feel really blessed that she is healthy again and gets to be here with us. Isabelle is loving having a younger sister. She is already a good helper! she shares her binki, wipes Kaylee's face, and even covers her up in blankets.
So, the past month has been a pretty crazy one. We have been living with my parents since last August and on April 18th the sale on their house closed. This meant that we needed to be moved out by the 16th but our new place was not going to be available until the 29th at the soonest (I will explain later). I went into labor on the 12th, the day all of the ward members came over to help my mom move their stuff into the storage shed (they are staying with my aunt until the school year is over).
That was also the day my moms house nearly cought fire! but thats a different story.
it was nutty!
Anyway, so Branden's Grandparents have been kind enough to let us stay in their RV in a park near Utah lake.
Kaylee was born on the 13th
At first I was quite hesitant to bring my brand new born to an RV park, but it has been a great blessing for us. Isabelle and I have loved the clean air and being so close to the Provo River trail.
So, about our new place:
A few weeks ago while Branden and I were trying to figure out where we were going to live, I found an apartment in Orem that I thought would work. It was not prefect, but it would work. Branden was even less in love with it than I was, but it really was the best option. That evening, as we were talking about it, Branden said, "We should just get my parents to buy us a house that we would rent from them." It was a half-joke but actually sounded really nice. Apartments around here have gotten ridiculously expensive for what you get.
He sent a text to his mom just to be funny.
One thing led to another and the next day they flew from Boston to look at houses!! They found one with a mother-in-law apartment for us to rent, made an offer, and are closing on it next week!
You can read more about it and see pictures Here
We get to move in sometime next week.
So here's to the crazy month and hopefully, to it's end.
