First adventure

As you all know, we are in Alaska now. Debbie has been here for the past week helping us set up, and boy has she been helpful!! Seriously, it has been amazing having her here both for my emotional well being and for help furnishing our apartment. 

I promise to post more about the apartment later; but for now I will tell you about our first Alaska adventure. 

Today was Debbie's last day, so we thought we'd better see at least some of Alaska with her while we could. We started at a bird sanctuary, where we saw no birds... But it was still very beautiful and Isabelle had fun running on the board walk. 

After that, we just drove up Cook Inlet sand up partridge road, looking at the mountains around us. The sights were breathtaking! 

Look closely to see all of the waterfalls running from the glacier, down the mountain.

I really miss people back home and I am sure it will be even harder once Debbie is gone, but it sure is georgeous here!
