A Taste of Age

I know I will never truly know what it is like to be elderly until I am, but i think that both Branden and I got our small taste of it this week.
I am currently enrolled in a volleyball class and we have been working on Pancaking. Need I say more?
Pancaking is when you throw your body to the ground, slide on your belly, and stretch your hand flat on the floor in order to pop a low ball back into the air.
Like this: ( I chose this picture because her face kinda says it all)
Anyway, on Monday in class I did about 15 of these in a row, and on Wednesday we were tested on them which included doing another 10 which does not seem to bad, but it was for me. The results were two pulled muscles, two purple and brown knees, three floor burns, and a completely sore body, and I mean COMPLETELY sore.
Branden, on the other hand, spent all Wednesday working on his engine. It is hard to know what this really entails without a picture.

Okay so the picture kida makes it look easy, but it is not. He can barely turn his neck and his arms are very sore.
So all day we have both been moving very slowly and carefully :)
